Active Shooter (Employee Response to WPV) -- (3 hours) The Wilson County Sheriff's Office will be hosting four training events that will cover Employee Response to Work Place Violence (Active Shooter).  Whereas, we all hope that we will never have any type of work place violence to occur, you should prepare yourself to react to any WPV event that may occur while at work.  In this class room training, you will be provided information on: being aware of your surroundings, knowledge of work space prior to a WPV event, what to expect from Law Enforcement, what is the best response you as an employee should take during the WPV and what to expect after the WPV has been neutralized.  The Wilson County Sheriff's Office will also be available to respond to questions about WPV.  To register for this class, email Melissa Parrish at amparrish@Wilson-co.com
