2017 Campaign begins...
Nancy Sallenger, Wilson Crisis Center, helps to kick off the 2017 Wilson County Gov campaign.
The Wilson County Government United Way Campaign kicked off on September 7. We have met with the department United Way representatives and many departments have started turning in pledge cards. There will be two events this year to raise funds.
United Way Dollar Day – Friday, September 29
On this day all departments will have a designated box/basket or bucket decorated and ready to accept donations. You can donate throughout the day. If you are able, we would love for every employee to bring $1 on that day. We will post some pictures hereon WCiGov.
United Way Bake Sale – Wednesday, October 11
On this day we end our campaign on a sweet note with a Bake Sale. Your department representatives will be asking for the chefs in your department to contribute to this great cause. This will be at the Library on 10/11, 10am – 1pm (or until all items are sold).
